And she'll hurry as fast as she can, as fast as he lets her, leading the way the entire time because she would sprint there if she could. That's just part of being Feferi: boundless amounts of energy and a exuberant impatience. Every so often she glances behind her to make sure that he's still following, despite the fact that she doesn't let go of his hand. As far as she knows, the hard part is over. Heck, nothing could be harder than getting Dave to go swimming.
Finally, at long last, she relinquishes her death grip on his hand when they reach the hive. Mostly so she can open the door, but they're so close there's no reason to pull him along anymore. She bounds down the hall and up the stairs, and stops to turn to him when she reaches her block door.
"You go on, I'll meet you in your block in a few minutes. Okay?"
