There is so much wrong with the idea of Dave being the smoothest, particularly when he doesn't factor in Feferi's excitable nature. It's not like it's one of her most endearing qualities or anything, nosiree. He's trying so hard to make this as perfect as possible by doing everything right, and really it's hard not to feel like it's going damn well when she's pushing him back. He doesn't resist the movement, he knows a girl is into it when she pushes a guy back like that.
